Wyoming Education Savings Accounts
Nobody knows the unique needs of Wyoming children better than parents.
Fortunately for Wyoming parents, legislators overwhelmingly passed Education Savings Account (ESA) programs this year. ESAs are like golden tickets for families.
They function like debit cards, where the state sets aside funds for individual student accounts, allowing families to use them for state-approved educational services like tutoring, online courses, transportation, private school tuition, or even therapeutic services.
The Good News:
✅ Up to $6,000 available for qualifying students
✅ Flexible spending on approved educational expenses
✅ More control over your child’s educational needs
The Bad News:
❌ Governor Gordon used his line-item veto authority to exclude the majority of Wyoming families from being eligible.
❌ Any family with household income of more than $46,800 cannot participate, leaving tens of thousands of Wyoming families out.
