First Amendment Rights Under Fire in Wyoming

The Liberty Justice Center has filed a lawsuit to defend Dr. Eric Cubin, who was forced to resign from the Wyoming Board of Medicine by Governor Gordon for exercising his right to free speech.  

Gov. Gordon fired Dr. Cubin for speaking out on a bill that protects children from gender reassignment surgeries and hormone therapies. Now, Dr. Cubin is fighting back with the Liberty Justice Center by his side.

“Governor Gordon unlawfully retaliated against Dr. Cubin for exercising his First Amendment rights,” said Buck Dougherty, Senior Counsel at the Liberty Justice Center. “We look forward to holding the Governor accountable for his actions in court.”
