Stop Treating Wyoming Schools Like Campaign Headquarters

We demand that the Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction immediately investigate and halt school districts using official resources to interfere in elections.

The May 2026 letter from Sweetwater County School District #2 Superintendent Scott Cooper directed parents to the Wyoming Education Association’s website and legislator scorecard to influence votes in the 2026 Primary Election.

Wyoming Statute § 9-13-105 forbids public officials from using public funds, time, personnel, facilities, or equipment for political activity.

We call on Megan Delgenfelder, Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction, to order a statewide review of such communications and require Sweetwater County School District #2 to retract their directives .
